Wimbledon's Centre Court has some stiff competition, La Caja Magica coming through

The new mixed-gender tournament in Madrid this year will feature most top players, but it will also feature what will go down as 1 of the most incredible venues in tennis today. "La Caja Magica" officially opened today and it sure is amazing. 3 courts in 1 stadium, each one with it's own retractable roof. The main court holds 12,500 people, the 2nd; 3,500 and the 3rd with a capacity of 2,500. The magnificent venue, designed by French architect Dominique Perrault, allows players to continue competition on all 3 courts, something no other tournament can say. The opening was highlighted with a special concert by Lenny Kravitz. The venue will without a doubt make some jaws drop, so stay tuned, because Monday, the Mutua Madrilena Madrid Open gets underway.
