Gilles Simon was upset by Albert Montanes in Estoril on Friday, and Nikolay Davydenko defeated Mardy Fish to set up a quarterfinal clash with James Blake, who advanced easily. Paul Capdeville also won to reach the final 4. Svetlana Kuznetsova and Dinara Safina will meet in a final for the 2nd consecutive week, as the 1 seed, Safina, took out Venus Williams in 3 exhilirating sets. Kuznetsova dominated Victoria Azarenka and will look to oust Safina for the 2nd straight time in the final.
