The Russian overpowered Wozniacki throughout the match, and grabbed a quick lead, never looking back. This is Safina's 2nd tournament title in 2 weeks, and 2nd title as world number 1. After her victory, the Russian adressed the crowd in Spanish, thanking Wozniacki for a great match and the crowd for their support. Dinara will take home 600,000 dollars.
