Jelena Dokic's pressuring and abusing father has been detained in Serbia, his native country, for threatening the Australian ambassador. On Wednesday, Serbian newspaper Blic said that Damir Dokic called the ambassador and threatened to fire a rocket at his car. Recently, Jelena accused her father of beating her, which made Damir very angry. She gave details about how she fled to escape the abuse. Damir stated to Blic that Jelena and her testimony is a “continuation of an attack on me, with a clear idea to kill me.” Dokic reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in January.
