Ancic, Isner and Tursunov pull out of Roland Garros

John Isner, Dmitry Tursunov and Mario Ancic all pulled out of the French Open on Thursday. Isner pulled out because of illness, Tursunov can't play because of a heel injury and Ancic because of a lack of fitness. Tursunov has been absent from the ATP tour for over a month, and Isner recieved the wild card spot into Roland Garros just a few weeks ago. His spot will be taken by Romain Jouan of France. Isner's ranking is 114, Tursunov is 23 and Ancic sits at 38.

p.s. don't you think Ancic's excuse is a little lame. He is a pro tennis player, and top-of-the-line fitness must come with that.
