In men's action in Miami, the day was full of blow-out victories, with Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Fernando Verdasco and Juan Martin del Potro all winning their matches easily. In the battle of the Frenchman, Jo Wilfried Tsonga defeated Gilles Simon in 3 sets after dropping the 1st. Andy Roddick defeated Gael Monfils in 2 tight sets to set up a quarterfinal with Federer. Only 2 quarterfinal women's matches were played on Tuesday, but the first definitly did not lack excitement. Caroline Wozniacki, who has been on a roll throughout the whole tournament, lost the 1st set against Svetlana Kuznetsova. The 8th-seeded Kuznetsova then dropped the second set in a tiebreak. The 3rd, unlike the first 2, was a runaway, as the Russian took it 6-1. In the 2nd match, Victoria Azarenka blew Sam Stosur off the court, dropping just 1 game to reach the semifinals. Rafa Nadal is set to play his 4th round match later tonight as he takes on Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka.
