The semifinals at Indian Wells were much anticipated and featured 4 players who completely deserved to be there. Two players though, emerged from the group and will be playing on Sunday in the finals. Andy Murray, who defeated Roger Federer in 3 sets, and Rafael Nadal, who defeated Andy Roddick in 2 tight sets, will be competing for the trophy at the BNP Paribas Open. Murray won the opening set if his match, as Federer came out with no tactics to defeat the Scot. After being on the defense for a good portion of the first, Federer played much more aggresively and got the 1 break he needed to take the second. Murray though, dominated the final set to advance. The first set in the Nadal-Roddick match was close, but Nadal was able to break Roddick's serve once to win it. In the second, no break points were converted and Nadal won in a tiebreaker. Murray has now defeated Federer 4 consecutive times.
