Rome Results

Tomorrow, I'll include both Rome and Stuttgart results, but because only 1 match was played at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, I opted to stick with just Rome for today. Marin Cilic dominated Flavio Cipolla in the 1st round, while James Blake continued his dissapointing season by getting trounced by Victor Crivoi, a qualifier. Rain affected play throughout much of the day, so a much anticipated matchup between Tommy Robredo and Marat Safin will have to wait an extra day. Sam Querrey and Nicholas Almagro will both have to wait another day to compete against their opponents as well. Stanislas Wawrinka rolled in his match, while Ivo Karlovic fought off a valiant effort from Jan Henrych. Karlovic will face Roger Federer next. Other winners included Albert Montanes, Christophe Rochus and Juan Monaco.
