


Andy Murray won the AEGON Championships in London by defeating James Blake in 2 tough sets. Murray, helped by the relentless support from his adoring home crowd, didn't lose a set all week and is looking like he is ready to make a big run at Wimbledon. In Halle, Tommy Haas stunned tennis fans by defeating Novak Djokovic in 3 sets to win the title. Haas, also supported by his home crowd, gained a lot of confidence by reaching the French Open 4th round 2 weeks ago, and made the transition from the dirt to grass look effortless. In Birmingham, Magdalena Rybarikova also produced an unexpected result by defeating 4th seeded Na Li in 2 sets. Rybarikova bageled Li in the 1st set and played a brilliant tiebreak in the 2nd to capture the crown and her first WTA title.
