U.S. Open Results- Day 12 & 13

Mother nature always seems to cause problems for the year's final Grand Slam in it's final weekend. The rain began Thursday night, and interrupted Rafael Nadal's quarterfinal battle with Fernando Gonzalez. Nadal was leading 7-6 (4), 6-6 (3-2). Juan Martin del Potro finished up with his quarterfinal just a few hours before, defeating Marin Cilic in four sets. Today, the storms continued from the night before, forcing both women' semis and the continuation of the remaining men's quarterfinal to be postponed. The men's final is now on Monday, the women's final now on Sunday and tomorrow, Nadal and Gonzaez will kick off play on Ashe, followed by men's doubles final. After the dubs, Yanina Wickmayer and Carolina Wozniacki will fight for a spot in the final and in primetime Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters will finally play their much anticipated match.
