After both Spain and the Czech Republic claimed both singles matches on Friday, the two countries each took their respective doubles matches as well to advance to the prestigious Davis Cup final, which will take place in Spain, in December and most likely on clay courts. The doubles pairing of Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek, who each won grueling five stters the previous day, dominated the Croation team of Marin Cilic and Lovro Zovko, while the Spaniard's doubles team, consisting of Feliciano Lopez and Tommy Robredo, defeated Jonathon Erlich and Andy Ram of Israel in four sets.
