On day 10 of the Open, Melanie Oudin was unable to continue her Cinderella run and was out-played and out-smarted by fellow teenager Caroline Wozniacki, who is in her first Grand Slam semifinal and is now at a career-high ranking of eight. Wozniacki's semifinal foe will be Yanina Wickmayer, who has been under-the-radar, but extremely impressive in her unexpected run. She beat Kateryna Bondarenko in straight sets. Novak Djokovic didn't play his best (not near it, actually) but was able to fight past a worn-out Fernando Verdasco in four sets to reach the final four. Nole will face a familiar foe, Roger Federer in the semis. Federer played a dynamite match against Robin Soderling, dropping just three games in the first two sets, before splitting the third and fourth in tiebreaks.
