Maria Sharapova continued her comback run by surrenderng just 2 games to Darya Kustova on her way to the quarterfinals of the Warsaw Open. Alyona Bondareko and Daniela Hantuchova also dominated their way to easy victories, but number 3 seed, Jie Zheng, was trounced by Klara Zakopalova. Anna Keothavong recovered from 1 set down to oust Jill Craybas, and 5th seeded Sara Errani was upset. Ioana Olaru advanced in 3 sets.
