Indian Wells Results: Ljubicic Shocks Rafa, to Play Roddick in Finals

Ivan Ljubicic wasn't ready for his dream run in Indian Wells to end. The Croatian has come out of nowhere to reach this year's finals, as he stunend Rafael Nadal in the semis behind his huge serve and heavy groundstrokes. After dropping the first set, the 20th seeded Ljubicic broke at 4-4 in the second, taking advantage of the momentum and eventually winning 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (1).

Andy Roddick also had to tough his way through a 3-setter, beating Robin Soderling 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. 'knew I was returning real well, so I thought this might be the rare occasion where that would be the thing that won it for me,"Roddick said. "Ultimately, the fact that I put a lot of pressure on his service games ended up helping.”
