Contrary to original reports, which stated that the Chile vs Israel Davis Cup tie, originally schedule for Friday, would not be postponed, the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that struck has delayed the match 1 day, to Saturday.
The matches will begin on Saturday and end on Monday, the ITF announced on Wednesday. Fortunately, the venue which is set to serve as host, has not been damaged, but the quake has killed at least 800 people and left thousands without shelter.
