Wimbledon Results- Day 9

Kate Winslet watching Fed's match

Andy Murray kept Great Britain's hope for it's 1st homegrown Wimbledon champion in over 7 decades alive on Wednesday when the 22 year old easily defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero. In Murray's 1st ever SW19 semifinal, he will meet self-proclaimed "old married dude" Andy Roddick. A-Rod fought for just under 4 hours in an epic battle with Lleyton Hewitt in which the American fired 43 aces. Roddick battled past the Aussie 6-4 in the 5th to return to the Wimby semis for the 1st time since 2005. On the bottom half of the men's draw lies Roger Federer and Tommy Haas, set to play a rematch of their thrilling Roland Garros 4th round match. Haas upset Novak Djokovic in 4 sets while Fed, who has now reached 21 straight GS semis, earned a straight set victory over Ivo Karlovic, who won just 11 points on the Swiss Maestro's serve. Nobody is going to be partying it up at the Wimbledon village tonight, because 3 of the semifinalists are either married or engaged and 1 has an uber-pregnant wifey.
