Gold Diggers

The winner of the U.S. Open this year will be raking in the bills, with a record 1.6 million dollar payday to be recieved by the winner. This is a 6 percent increase from last year, and the U.S. Open Series bonus is still available to a player who finishes in the top 3 over the summer and also wins the Open. The bonus has been recieved only twice before, by Roger Federer in 'o7 and by Kim Clijsters in '05.
