15 time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer was honored in his hometwon of Basel yesterday, 2 weeks after his record-breaking achievement at Wimbledon. The Swiss got a plack with his name on it engraved in the sidewalks of Basel, sort of like the walk of fame in Hollywood. Mr. Federer's 1st child is due in just 3 weeks.

Federer's honoring is premature. Yes, he has won two majors this year, but neither were against his rival, Rafael Nadal. If Fed defeats the left-handed Spaniard at least twice in grand slams, then he should be honored and proclaimed the greatest ever.
