RIP Alexander McQueen

Lee Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London apartment Thursday morning. The designer was never one too fade into the background, as his indolent designs pushed the most extreme boundaries in the fashion industry and his talent was second to none. Roger Federer's bff Anna Wintour put the devastating loss best, saying, "He brought a uniquely British sense of daring and aesthetic fearlessness to the global stage of fashion. In such a short career, Alexander McQueen's influence was astonishing—from street style to music culture and the world's museums. His passing marks an insurmountable loss."

McQueen was quite possibly the single most ingenious and visionary man the industry had to offer, and he will surely be missed.

Though this has little to do with tennis, McQueen's collaboration with athletic brand Puma in 2005 did include some tennis clothing.

RIP McQ
