If there's one thing that this year's Dubai Championships have not lacked, it's drama. And the thrill was on display on Friday night. as Novak Djokovic roared back to beat Marcos Baghdatis in 3 sets 6-7 (2), 6-3, 6-4. The Serb will be looking to clinch his 17th ATP Tour title in the finals, and defend a championship for the 1st time in his already illustrious career.
Djokovic's final round opponent, though, won't be easy to take down, as Mikhail Youzhny has sailed through the draw with few hiccups since his near first round exit, most recently earning a 2-set win over Jurgen Melzer, 7-5, 7-6 (4). Youzhny and Djokovic are split 3-3 in their head-to-head, with their last match going to the Russian just a few weeks ago in Rotterdam.
