Kim Clijsters, who has been trying to heal from a foot injury for over a month, has withdrawn from next week's French Open. Ranked 10th in the world, Clijsters joins a list containing Sabine Lisicki and Sania Mirza of those have pulled out.
On the men's side, world number 6 Nikolay Davydenko has pulled himself out of the year';s 2nd slam due to a wrist injury that has been bothering the Russian since March. Davy's loss puts a major dent into the men;s field that has already loss 5th ranked Juan Martin del Potro and Tommy Haas.
