And Serena Williams is back on top! After an incredible victory by the younger of the Williams sisters over Dinara Safina in the Australian Open final, Serena Williams will once again return to number 1. Surrendering just 3 games total, Williams hit forehand, backhand, serve and volley winners from almost every area of the court, while hitting just 7 unforced errors. Safina, although she will have a very bright future in tennis, proved that expierence played a huge factor in the final. It was the 27 year old Serena's 10th grand slam, while Dinara's 2nd runner-up trophy. With the way Dinara is playing, Marat Safin will soon be Dinara's older brother, but last night just wasn't Safina's night. The Bryan brothers battled back after losing the first set 6-2 in the men's doubles final against Bhupathi and Knowles, and Bob and Mike soared to dominate the next two, winning the last 8 games of the match.
