The two biggest servers in the men's game met in the quarterfinals at the AEGON Championships on Friday, and Andy Roddick came out on top, besting Ivo Karlovic in 2 tiebreak sets. James Blake and Andy Murray both won in 2 sets, while Juan Carlos Ferrero needed 3 sets to oust Steve Darcis and advanced. In Halle, Novak Djokovic and Tommy Haas each won in straights. Phillip Kohlschreiber and Olivier Rochus won after losing the 1st set. Maria Sharapova beat Yanina Wickmayer in 3 sets in Birmingham to reach the semis, joining Sania Mirza and Na Li, both 2 set winners. Magdalena Rybarikova easily defeated Urszula Radwanska to reach the final 4.
